Biography

As a filmmaker, Prof. Dr. Peter de Kock traveled the world covering wars and international conflicts. After earning a master’s degree in Criminal Investigation, he started a career within the Dutch National Police in which he became head of several covert departments. Within these departments he introduced the use of creative scenarios to predict criminal behaviour. In 2014 he earned his Ph.D. with the thesis Anticipating Criminal Behaviour. In 2017 De Kock resigned from the police force to start Pandora Intelligence, a company that develops decision making software to help government organizations, NGOs and multinationals to increase their efficiency. Within the company, De Kock fulfills the role of “Chief Imagination Officer”. With his diverse background and hands-on experience in fostering innovation across industries, De Kock isa renowned lector and public speaker. He is known for his creative approach and ability to decode complex technological developments into accessible and engaging narratives.
