For governments, it is essential to access, combine and leverage data. This is the only way they can create a meaningful impact for their inhabitants in the face of increasingly large and complex societal challenges. That is precisely where this program will support you as a professional. Learn from leading experts what digitization can mean for you. And how your policy topic can be designed accordingly.
Purpose of this program Digitalization for Government?
In recent years, we have seen technological changes with increasing impact follow each other faster and faster. One major reason: datafication. Datafication is also a driver of major changes in central government. Data translators are needed to guide these changes in a sustainable way. Data translators are bridge builders who can link domain-oriented tasks and departmental goals to usable datasets and technologies.
Digital tech is transforming society—and governments can’t afford to stand still. This program invites you to explore how data, AI and public values collide, and how you can make a difference from within your organization.
Curious how it works, what you’ll learn, and what it means for your role?
The program is open to employees of government institutions; ministries, provinces, municipalities, but also, for example, water boards and environmental services. Learn about the impact of new (digital) technologies such as artificial intelligence and, in particular, generative AI. Specific prior knowledge of Data Science / AI is not required to follow this program.
This program gives professionals in the public sector the tools to turn data and AI into real impact. Each session is hands-on, grounded in practice, and designed to move you—and your organization—forward.
