Registering with the municipality: Firstly, it’s crucial to register with the municipality (gemeente) where you will be residing. This registration ensures that you are officially recognized as a resident, and it is mandatory for all individuals living in the Netherlands. As soon as you are registered by your landlord at your address, you can register at the municipality. This has to be done within the first three months of your arrival.
Insurance: It’s essential to ensure your personal belongings are protected by insurance.
